Thank you for registering for FBYC Sailing School 2026. We look forward to you getting out on the water with us this summer! Disclaimer: FBYC Sailing School is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property while on the premises. Further, I understand that a program of this nature contains an element of hazard, and, in this respect, I accept the full responsibility of the presence of this member of my family in this program and release the Frenchman's Bay Yacht Club, its committees, and employees of any and all liability, for any and all damages, or injury, however, caused. Supervision: I understand that FBYC Sailing School is responsible for supervision of my child during program hours of operation only. If I cannot supervise my child outside of these times, it is my responsibility to arrange for alternate supervision. I am expected to drop off and pick up my child at the designated time as indicated prior to beginning of programming and advise instructors if I am to be late. Missed Classes: FBYC Sailing School is not required to make up any lost time, or provide financial compensation, due to weather related closures however every effort will be made to provide alternate programming. Participants are to attend all dates as scheduled as per their registration. In the event the participant is unable to attend, make-up classes, refunds, or credits for missed classes will not be provided. Individuals registered to Race Teams that are unable to participate in expected travel, alternate arrangements will be subject to discussion. FBYC Sailing School Program Cancellation Policies 1. All cancellations in which registration was made by credit card are subject to a service a fee of 5%. 2. All requests for program changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing. 3. If cancellation of enrolment occurs prior to March 31st , 2026, 100% of the program fees charged will be refunded. 4. If cancellation of enrolment occurs between March 31st and May 31st, 2026, 50% of the program fees charged will be refunded. 5. From June 1st, 2026 onwards, no refunds will be issued unless the spot is able to filled by another participant from the waitlist. FBYC Sailing School Program Conditions of Enrolment 1. Membership accounts will be billed at the time of registration. 2. Program fees cannot be pro-rated if a participant elects to partially attend a given session or program. 3. Program change requests made after initial enrolment will be permitted based on availability of space and cannot be guaranteed. Program changes will be subject to $50 administration fee per change. 4. FBYC Sailing School reserves the right to terminate the continuation of any participant if determined that this is in the best interest of the participant and/or program. Privacy Policy: FBYC Sailing School policy is such that unless otherwise required by law, FBYC Sailing School will never, directly or indirectly, in any manner or for any reason whatsoever: (i) disclose to any person, firm or corporation any of the Confidential Information provided, or (ii) use any of the Confidential Information for any purpose except in the proper course and for use in FBYC Sailing School programming. FBYC Sailing School will not intentionally disclose any Confidential Information to any third party without your permission. Photography: From time to time, FBYC Sailing School will take photos or video to accurately depict the activities and programs offered. Any photograph or video may be included in social media, websites, promotional material or advertisements relating to program activities. The use of photographs or video are for FBYC Sailing School usage only and will not be sold to third parties. Contact [email protected] if you wish to have your family opt out of any photos or video. Release Agreement: I have read the rules and regulations regarding cancellations, waitlists and participant responsibility as laid out and agree to be bound by them. In consideration of my child being permitted to take part in the program, I agree to save harmless and keep indemnified the Frenchman’s Bay Yacht Club, and their respective agents, officials, servants and representatives from and against all claims, actions, costs, expenses and demands in respect to death, injury, loss, damage to person or property, howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with taking part in the FBYC Sailing School Program, notwithstanding that the same may have contributed to or caused or occasioned by the negligence of the same bodies or any of them, or their agents, officials, servants or representatives. I further understand and agree that this release is binding upon myself, my heirs, executors and assigns.
